The "2020 RAM 1500 Bulb Size Guide" reveals a thoughtful integration of lighting technology, emphasizing both functionality and style. This vehicle uses a range of bulb sizes across its various lighting positions, indicating a meticulous design approach. Step-by-step guide on how to replace the headlight bulb on a 2020 RAM 1500:

  1. Remove the Grille: Begin by removing clips at the top of the grille. Easily detachable, these clips give access to the grille's screws.
  2. Unscrew the Grille: Locate and remove four screws on top of the grille. Carefully pull the grille out, mindful of its fragility and clips holding it in place.
  3. Access Headlight Assembly: With the grille removed, find screws around each headlight. For the lower part of the headlight, locate a white clip in a small housing at the bottom. Use a flathead screwdriver to unlock this clip, allowing the headlight to become loose.
  4. Remove the Headlight Bulb: After loosening the headlight, turn the bulb counterclockwise and unplug the harness to remove it.
  5. Install New Bulb: Insert the new bulb (e.g., an H11 LED bulb), ensuring it fits snugly. Turn clockwise to lock it in place. Reconnect the harness and test the bulb to ensure it's working.
  6. Reassemble Headlight Assembly: Carefully reinsert the headlight into its position, making sure it aligns correctly. Hand-tighten all screws and secure the white clip in the housing.
  7. Reattach the Grille: Align and reattach the grille, ensuring all clips and screws are properly secured.
  8. Final Checks: Confirm all screws are tight and the grille is properly aligned. Test the headlights to ensure they're functioning correctly.
